Name branding is part of getting yourself known on the web. Signing your articles, forum postings and putting your ads out there with your name and picture will get you known in the marketing world of the web. The point of making yourself known to others will build trust and familiarity.
Google will provide you with an outlet of information to others when they bring up your name. In school who had the name branding, in the school paper, on the banners in the school, of course, the cheer leaders. Often times the ones that were known were the bad kids not the quiet ones that minded their own business.
On The internet we need to become knowing of people, get out there and introduce yourself. If someone is to trust you they will first have to know you and get to know if you are credible. Marketing on auctions start at the beginning and when you get enough people to give you praise you will earn stars to help people know you have done your business ethically. When you go to a store and do not get the service that you expect you will no longer patronage the store. It is the same with the internet if you have not taken care of your customers it will bring you bad publicity.
Look at the large legitimate companies they have been working on branding their name by ads with logos, the company name. Testimonials will also move people to check into your site, most people will shy away from people they can not find information on. Branding yourself as a good work at home business person with a legitimate program will take you farther. Traffic exchanges are another way to get your picture and name out there for many people to see when they are surfing their favorite sites.
Forums are set up now to include your picture, and how many times you have posted. Your reputation will follow you keep your name with a good reputation for honesty and good sense working in the world of the web.
